A native of Salem, Oregon, Blair Masters moved to Nashville, TN in 1988, to pursue a career as a musician.  This pursuit has led him on quite a journey getting to record with a huge span of artists such as Amy Grant, BeBe Winans, Jerrod Niemann, Steven Curtis Chapman, Casting Crowns,  Andy Williams,  Barry Manilow, and Megadeth, to name a few.  He has also had the privilege of touring with artists such as Garth Brooks, Peter Frampton, Michael McDonald, MercyMe, Giant, Steve Wariner, as well as many others.  Blair has composed music for television for channels such as A&E, The Discovery Channel, ABC, NBC, and CBS.  He also co-wrote the song “Blue Beyond” which was sung by Trisha Yearwood in the Disney movie “Fox & the Hound II”.  He is currently a member of the band “Dogs of Peace” with Petty Junkies bandmate Gordon Kennedy, as well as a member of the band “Tim Akers & the Smoking Section”.
